Test Shots below from the Nikon D300 and Olympus E3

The above image was shot with the Olympus E3 using the 12-60mm lens @ 14mm and F11. ISO100

The above image was taken with the Nikon D300 using the 17-55 f/2.8 lens at 17mm amd F11. ISO100 (L1.0)

The above crop was made from a RAW comversion in Olympus Studio 2. This is to show the there is a slight issue in the ACR conversion, an issue aknowledged by adobe.

Another 100% crop from the E3 original RAW, again using Oly studio to convert. Clearly the E3 file converts much better using Olympus software and Adobe have some work to do to catch up.

The remaining crops below were converted using Adobe Lightroom. It is interesting to see that the E3 edge of frame sharpnes appears to be much better.
